I am a Gem because

"Always hoping things would fit just as cute on other people, my insecurities kept me from buying things to avoid the comments and looks. Now, I’m at a time in my life where I break away from that, because they don’t have to live in this body...I do. And I won’t let anybody keep me from clothes that make me look AND feel beautiful."

"I've learned to love myself, accepting that my body is beautiful no matter how it is, and that it will change many times throughout my life. I will be the best version of myself, regardless of what the rest think."
-Patricia

People would always come to me and say ‘you’re pretty to be darkskin’. And that always allowed me to have insecurities because I figured I wasn’t enough and that my skin wasn’t beautiful enough. And as I got older, I realized that I wasn’t just ‘ pretty to be a “darkskin girl’, I was beautiful because of who I am on the inside and not on the out.
